What is Outbreak?

Outbreak is a 3-level single-player PvE challenge where it’s just you against the Beasts.

Your goal is to survive all 3 levels while facing increasingly challenging encounters. Unlike regular matches, a Knock Out means Game Over, so you’ll need to manage your resources carefully to make it to the end of each level.

Outbreak can currently be completed once. After you’ve cleared all 3 levels, it will disappear from your Map.

How does Energy work in Outbreak?

Energy works differently in Outbreak. Energy and Critter Power-ups are limited and only become available during brief pauses between encounters.

If Critters aren't providing Energy during a battle, this is intended and not a bug - managing the Energy available to you is part of the Outbreak challenge.
